Expansion Plans Crellow has outgrown its first home in our kitchen - so has moved across the drive to our former garage! We are delighted to reclaim the kitchen for our own purposes and not to have vinegar scented towels in the airing cupboard above! The move to these new 'premises' means we have been able to improve our production schedules and are finding it easier to produce more. We have not changed our methods or our approach but we are able to get nearer to the demand!
2008 has seen the catering range established in our business. We are stocking 1.2kg buckets and 2.75kg can be made to order, with a lead time of between 6 & 8 weeks. Currently - August 2008 - the range in 1.2kg buckets includes: Apple Date and Ginger Chutney Apple and Onion Chutney Beetroot Relish (out of stock until September 2008) Father's Favourite Hot Goddess Orchard Chutney (out of stock until January 2009) Red Pepper Relish Lord of the Isles - a few jars left in 800g jars only, 2008 stock will go into 1.2kg pails and be available from late October 2008)
Waitrose Small Producer's Award 2007 We were finalists in this most prestigious of food awards in 2007 with Kea Plum and Rosemary Jelly. Sadly, we did not win but being a finalist was, we felt an achievement in itself. Kea Plum remains our flagship product and we are very proud of this little Crellow original! |
